Tom Sullivan is an accomplished live broadcast director known for directing some of today’s most innovative multi-camera digital shows, including three Daytime Emmy-nominated productions. In 2019, he was honored with a Producing Emmy nomination, highlighting his versatility and dedication to excellence.

Early in his career, Tom’s experience in webcasts taught him how to achieve exceptional results with limited resources. Tom began his career at Livestream (later Vimeo), directing and producing major live events across multiple continents for leading brands. This opportunity allowed him to direct a diverse range of multi-camera shows—from polished corporate events to full broadcast productions like talk shows, high-fashion runway shows, red carpet premieres, and arena-scale music concerts around the world.

After transitioning to freelance work, he has spent over a decade directing both live and live-to-tape productions for major brands, networks, and broadcast companies: Apple Fitness+, Coachella, The Met Gala, Oprah’s latest special, & groundbreaking XR/AR shows are just some of the broadcasts Tom has directed over the recent years.

With a strong background in cinematography, Tom enhances the visual style of shows and ensures seamless communication with technical teams. What distinguishes him is his unique blend of creativity, deep technical expertise, and organizational skills, enabling him to deliver outstanding productions on any scale.
